  Oneida -- Steven Christopher Thomas, 6, son of Daniel P. and Kelly Thomas of 348 East Maple St., 
Oneida, died Sunday at Oneida City Hospital after a long illness. 
 
  Steven Thomas was born in Oneida. 
 
  Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, Joshua James and Joseph Andrew Thomas, both at home; 
his paternal grandmother, MargaretThomas of Oneida; his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Gimore 
of Auburn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 
 
  Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., and 10 a.m. at 
St. Joseph's Church, where the Rev. Pastor Stanley Szewczyk will celebrate Mass.  A child's vigil service
will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. 
 
  Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 260 Main St., Oneida. 
 
  Contributions may be made to the Pediatric Pulmonary Clinic at SUNY Health Science Center.
