    Ruth L. Hollenbeck 
  
 Ruth L. Hollenbeck, 87, of 10799 Hickory Ridge Road, Columbia,  
Md., and a former Munnsville and Vernon Center resident, died  
Tuesday, August 11, 1998, at the Howard County Hospital in  
Columbia, Md. 
 She was born on April 15, 1911, in Munnsville, the daughter of  
Fred A. and Nellie Davis Lamb. 
 Mrs. Hollenbeck had lived in the Munnsville area most of her  
life, and was a 1931 graduate of Stockbridge High School. 
 She later graduated from the Broad Street Hospital Nursing  
School, Oneida, in 1936. She had lived in Maryland since 1984. 
 Mrs. Hollenbeck had worked at the Maple Park Nursing Home, Vernon  
Center, for 12 years, retiring in 1980. 
 Mrs. Hollenbeck had been a member of the Munnsville Congregational  
Church. 
 She married Robert C. Hollenbeck on May 10, 1935, in Rochester. 
 Surviving are her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, William  
Sr. and Bernadette Hollenbeck of Rochester and Gary and Olesia  
Hollenbeck of Ellicott City, Md.; four grandchildren, Scott  
Hollenbeck, William Hollenbeck Jr., Zachary Hollenbeck and Stacy  
Hollenbeck, and several nieces and nephews.
