  CANANDAIGUA -- Rodney J. Brennan, 46, 221 Buffalo St., died this morning at Highland Hospital, 
Rochester, after a long illness. 
 
  Born in Utica Jan. 21, 1928, he was the son of Earl P. and Mildred Gay Brennan. He married Gladys A. 
Chappell of Oneida. 
 
  Mr. Brennan was a self-employed accountant. 
 
  He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Canandaigua, a past commander of Canandaigua VFW 
No. 7414, a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army of Occupation,  a member of the Canandaigua 
Merrill Hose Fire Department, Knights of Columbus No. 1445, Canandaigua and the Canandaigua Elks Lodge. 
He was also a life member of Nest 1606, Order of the Owls, Oneida. 
 
  Surviving are his father, Earl P. Brenna of Oneida; his wife, one daughter, Miss Janice Brennan of 
Horseheads; three sons, Steven of Springwater and Patrick and Joseph Brennan, both of Canandaigua; five 
brothers, Gay, Utica, Michael, Raton, Mo., Robert of Webster, Don of Suffern, and James Brennan, 
Rochester; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Scannard, Rome, the Misses Suzanne of Rome and Barbara Brennan of 
Long Island and Mrs. Jayne Gifford of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
