MUNNSVILLE - Mabel I. Rowe, 84, of Falls Road, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Oneida Healthcare, as the 
result of an auto accident. 

She was born on Jan. 31, 1916, in the town of Stockbridge, the daughter of Daniel Sr. and Lulu Harvey 
Ward. 

She attended local schools and was a life resident of the area. On Dec. 17, 1938, Mabel was married to 
Edward I Rowe in Madison. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. 

Surviving are her husband, Edward Rowe of Munnsville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Joan Rowe and 
Joyce and Norm Barriger, all of Munnsville; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Kristen Rowe of 
Munnsville; two sisters, Margaret Ingalls of Oriskany Falls and Leona Failing of Hamilton; two brothers 
and one sister-in-law, Frank and Gladys Ward of Syracuse and Harold "Ike" Ward of Munnsville; 10 
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two 
brothers, Charles and Daniel Ward Jr., and one sister, Berdena Stone.
