  Mrs. Marion E. Arnold, 74, of Hotel Oneida, died Tuesday in the Oneida City Hospital, following an 
illness of one month. 
 
  Born in Oneida, March 29, 1900, she was the daughter of Charles and Mae McMahon Parkinson. She had 
been a resident of Oneida most of her lifetime. Her husband Harry E. Arnold Sr. died Aug. 9, 1956. 
 
  Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Arnold had been employed as a saleslady by various local merchantile 
establishments. 
 
  She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and was a member and past senior regent of the College 
of Regents of the Ladies of the Moose. She was also a member and sargeant-at-arms of the Auxillary of 
Post 169, American Legion and was past president of the Munnsville American Legion Auxillary. 
 
  Surviving are one son, Robert Arnold of Oneida; two daughters, Mrs. Darwin (Dorothy) Diable of 
Munnsville and Mrs. Stephan (Betty) Johnson of Oneida; 23 grandchioldren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
