 M. Cecelia Arnold, 91, of 344 Seneca St., died Sunday afternoon, May 30, 1999, at her 
residence, following a brief illiness. 
 She was born on March 5, 1908, in North Bay, the daughter of James and Ellen Santry 
Corcoran. 
 She was a resident of Oneida for many years, and was a graduate of Oneida High Schools 
and St. Joseph's Hospital, School of nursing. 
 She married Eugene H. Arnold on Oct. 1, 1935, in St. Patrick's Church, Oneida. Mr. Arnold 
died on Feb. 26, 1981. 
 Mrs. Arnold was a registered professional serving as a private obstetrics nurse. 
 She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, a member of St. Joseph's School of 
Nursing Alumni Association, St. Patrick's Altar-Rosary Society and served as a member of the 
Board of Health for the city of Oneida under the mayoral administrations of Robert Burns and 
Dr. Charles Earl and the directorship of Dr. Waldo Zeun. 
 Surviving are one sister, Mary Lindroth of Sherrill; and several nieces and nephews.
