       LEVI R. VANDUSEN

  Levi R. VanDusen, who was born in the town of Lenox and lived here all of
his life until about a year ago, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
Arthur H. Burdick in Hamilton, Wednesday morning. Mr. VanDusen was 77 years 
old and for 25 years had suffered from dropsy, which was the cause of his 
death. He was a genial, courteous gentleman and made many friends, who will 
regret to hear of his death.  He was a member of Canastota lodge F. & A. M. 
Funeral services at the Wampsville church Saturday morning at 11 oclock. Rev.
J. V. Benham officiating and burial with Masonic honors in the cemetery at 
Wampsville.
