 Leah Parsons Tayntor, 95, of Eagleville Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998, 
at the Crouse Community Center, Morrisville, following a long illness. 
 She was born Oct. 6, 1903, in Garland, Pa., the daughter of Rome and Flora 
Butler Parsons. 
 She was a 1926 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. On June 27, 1929, she 
married Sterling Tayntor in Morrisville. Mr. Tayntor died on May 6, 1989. 
 A resident of Morrisville since 1927, Mrs. Tayntor was a homemaker and had 
also assisted her husband in operation of their dairy farm, Maple Bush Farms. 
 She had taught briefly at Morrisville High School from 1927-28, and had 
also taught piano to many Morrisville childern for a number of years. 
 Mrs. Tayntor was a member of the Morrisville Community Church, where she 
was a church organist for many years. 
 Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Jean Tayntor of 
Eaton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Roger Day of Keene, 
N.H. and Charlotte and Frank Battisti of Medfield, Mass.; 13 grandchildren; 
18 great-grandchildren; and serveral nieces and nephews.
