Leon 'Jim' Stevens 
 
  Leon 'Jim' Stevens, 73, of Garden Grove, Cal, died on Thursday, June 17, 1999, in Martin Luther 
Hospital in Anahein.

  He was the son of the late Lyle and Ethyl Stevens of Vernon, N.Y.

  Mr. Stevens attended Vernon Schools.
 
  In 1945-46 Mr. Stevens was in the Merchant Marines and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was 
stationed in England. 

  He married the former Margery Darrow in 1951 in London, England. 

  Surviving are his wife of Garden Grove; two daughters, Susan Campbell, of Garden Grove and Elizabeth 
Divino of Mohave Valley; one son, David Stevens of Crystal Lake; five brothers, Fred and Larry Stevens 
of Vernon, Leland Stevens of Sherrill, N.Y., Lyle Stevens of Fountain, Colo. and Ken Stevens of 
Kairserslaugtern, Germany; nine sisters, Kathie Robinson and Cheryl Warner of Garden Grove, Betty 
Robinson, Ginny Stevens and Carolyn House of Oneida, N.Y., Janine McKay of Vernon, N.Y., Wanda Edic of 
Castorland, N.Y., Andrea DeBarr of Sherrill and Marsha Sreca of Vernon; five grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
