  John A. Christensen 
 
  John A. Christensen, 60, Quiet Vally Moblie Park, died Sunday morning 
Sept. 26, 1999, at the residence of his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and 
Albert Fabian of Canastota, following an extended illness. 
  He was born on June 12, 1939, in Little Falls, the son of John and Rose 
Hartman Christensen. He was a resident of Vernon Center for the past 11 
years, moving from Oneida. He was educated in the Chittenango schools. 
  Prior to his retirement, due to a disability, Mr. Christensen was employed
with Oneida Ltd. He was a member of the Community Associated Clubs, the 
Oneida Ltd. Retirement Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose, Oneida Lodge No. 
421 and was of the Protestant faith. 
  Mr. Christensen served with the U.S. Air Force. 
  Surviving are one son, John A. Christensen of Oneida; two daughters and 
sons-in-law, Julie and Albert Fabian of Canastota and Marion and Eric Kinny 
of Wasilla, Alaska; one sister, Louise Ballou of Fenner; seven grandchildren, 
Shane, Sara, Reannin, Patrick and Matthew Christiansen and Brandi and Jobear 
Kinny; and several nieces and nephews.
