Helen V. Beebe
Helen V. Beebe, 80, 5580 Old Main Street, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 10,
1999 in the Oneida Healthcare Center, where she had been a medical patient
for the past two weeks.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1919, the daughter of Henry and Eva Veiling. Mrs.
Beebe was educated and graduated from Syracuse Catholic schools. Her husband,
Varland M. "Red" Beebe died on Oct. 25, 1969.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Beebe was employed with the Oneida Limited,
Silversmiths, in the sales office. She was a communicant of St. Francis
Church, where she was a member of the Sunshine Club and tought religious
education, was a life member of the Durhamville Fire Department Auxiliary,
a member of the Community Associated Clubs, the Oneida Limited Retirement
Club and was active with Catholic Charities and formerly with 4-H. Mrs. Beebe
was a very giving women, helping people in need.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Sally Beebe of Oneida;
one brother and sister-in-law, James and Clara Lack of Fairview, Pa,; five
grandchildren, Matthew, Greg and Michele Beebe and Heidi and Richard
Bartholomay; one great-grandchild, Kyle Bartholomay. She was predeceased by
a daughter, Sharon Bartholomay on Feb. 22, 1998 and a brother Harry Lack in
1945.
