GEORGE H. BUTLER 
 
 George H. Butler, 82, formerly of N. Main St., died early 
yesterday in Hamilton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. 
 Born in Oneida on April 22, 1883, he was the son of the late 
Joseph and Rosalie Butler. He married the late Myrtle 
Everetts, Aug., 30, 1906. 
 Surviving are four sons, William, George and Harry, all of 
Oneida and Arthur Butler, Verona; three daughters, Mrs. 
Emma Chesebro and Mrs. Eleanor Hewitt, both of Oneida and Miss 
Lena Butler, Herkimer; one brother, William of Oneida; 36  
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and 
nephews. 
 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday from the John J. 
McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., with the Rev. 
E. Robert Hughes, pastor of the Oneida Baptist Church, 
officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemtery. 
 Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. 
and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
 Funeral arrangements are being handled by James Iles and 
John J. McSweeney.
