George E. Suits Sr. 
 
  George E. Suits Sr., 79, of Lamb Ave., died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, in the
Oneida Healthcare Center Extended Care Faciity where he had been a resident
for the past two years. Mr. Suits resided on North Willow Street in Oneida
for more than 50 years. 
  On June 29, 1946, in Sherrill, he married the former Alice McLaughlin. 
  Mr. Suits was employed for many years as a custodian with the Oneida School
District and for 15 years he was a security guard for Oneida Ltd. He was a 
veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army as a medic. 
  Surviving are his wife; three sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diana 
Suits of Canastota, George and Cindy Suits Jr. of Sherrill and Paul and Wendy 
Suits of Liverpool; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen Suits of Oswego 
and Barbara and Daryll Hamm of Maryland; one half brother, Edward Daly of 
Tully; six grandchildren, Mark Suits, Joseph Suits, Timothy Hamm, Nicholas 
Hamm, Alyssa Suits and Alec Suits; and one great-grandaughter.
