Golda Ingalls dies Tuesday
Mrs. Golda Eddy Ingalls, 92, of Buyea Road, Canastota, died at Oneida City Hospital early Tuesday morning
shortly after admittance. She had been in poor health for the last three years.
She was born in Merrillsvile, Sept. 24, 1886, the daughter of Merritt and Rose Brown Eddy. She was the
widow of Chilton Ingalls who died Jan. 10, 1946. She had lived in this area all her life.
Mrs. Ingalls attended the Clockville Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs George (Ivah) Eager, of Canastota, one brother Blaine Eddy of
Durhamville, one sister, Mrs. Gladys Ward, of Oneida, two grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James St., Canastota, Friday at 2
P. M. with Rev. Alan Kinney, pastor of the Clockville Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside
Cemetery, Merrillsville, N.Y. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursady from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P,M.
