  Floyd V. Curtis 
 
  Floyd V. Curtis, 64, of Tiller Road, died late Friday morning, Oct. 22, 
1999, at his home, following a lengthy illness. 
  He was born on March 7, 1935, in Morrisville, the son of Floyd and Margaret
Smith Curtis. 
  Mr. Curtis was educated in Morrisville schools and had been a lifelong 
resident of the area. He married Cindy Roache on Aug. 3, 1985. 
  Prior to his retirement in 1994, he was employed as a machine operator with
Oneida Limited, Silversmiths, Inc. Mr. Curtis served in the U.S. Army during 
the Korean War. 
  He was a member of the Oneida Ltd. Retirement Club, Communitry Associated 
Clubs, American Legion, Munnsville Post No. 54, and was of the Protestant 
Faith. 
  Surviving are his wife, Cindy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and 
Leon Jayson of Canastota, and Lori and Randy Streeter of Morrisville; four 
sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Crowley and Virgie Curtis at home; 
Brian Curtis of Poughkeepsie and Jeff and Jean Curtis of Canastota; three 
brothers, Carl, Clyde and Lynn Curtis, all of Munnsville; 11 grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Curtis was predeceased by one brother, 
Emerson Curtis.
