  Canastota - Everett Stevens, 87, of 323 Genessee St., and a former 
Canastota resident, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, at the Oneida Healthcare 
Extended Care Facility following a brief illness. 
  He was born May 24, 1912, in Colorado, the sone of Kevin and Mabel Phahl 
Stevens. 
  Mr. Stevens spent his early  years in Cazenovia, later moving to Canastota, 
where he spent most of his life. 
  He had worked for Isadore Rapasadi & Sons in Canastota. 
  Mr. Stevens married Josephine Miller, who died in 1988. 
  Surviving are one son, Everett William Stevens of Florida; two daughters, 
Berdine Stevens of North Carolina and Ruth Stevens of Oneida; two grand-
children, Linda George and Joseph Colvin; and one great-grandchild.
