MRS. BENJAMIN THAYER 
 
Bridgeport--Mrs. EDNA STERNBERG THAYER,  
89 of Bridgeport, died yesterday. A life resident of this community, she was a  
member of the Bridgeport Methodist Church, it's Women's Society of Christian  
Service and Bridgeport Grange No. 1366. 
She was the wife of Benjamin Thayer. 
 
Surviving besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Ella J. Ashcraft of  
Mattydale, Mrs. Ethel Graham, Canastota, and Mrs. Julia Dean of Bridgeport; two 
sons Wallace Hilts of West Eaton and Charles Hilts, Mattydale; one brother, 
Alvin Sternberg, and one sister Ethel Moth; both of Bridgeport; twenty-one  
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
