                                    Mrs. Estella Cox 
                                   Succumbs in Oneida 
 
    Mrs. Estella N. Cox, 84, a resident of the Madison County Old Ladies Home in Oneida died Monday 
evening after a brief illness. 
    Mrs. Cox was born in Canastota, Dec. 18, 1872, the daughter of John and Louisa Youngs Deitz.  She 
was married in February 1876 to Clinton Cox, who died in November 1940. 
    She was a resident of Canastota until Nov. 1, 1948, when she made her residence at the Old Ladies 
Home. 
    Surviving is one brother, Edgar Deitz, Canastota, and several nieces and nephews. 
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Madison County Old Ladies Home with the Rev. E. 
Robert Hughes, pastor of the Oneida Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Lenox Rural 
Cemetery.
