 Munnsville- Mrs. Ethel M. Houseman, 89, widow of G. Lee Houseman of R.D 1 
Munnsville, died early this morning at Hamilton Hospital after a long 
illness. She was born in Pratts Hollow Dec. 6, 1888, the daughter of DeWitt 
C. and Nettie Woodcock Cramer. She was a life resident of the area. She 
married Dec. 12, 1906 in Stockbridge. 
 Mr. Houseman died in 1974. She was employed at the Griffiss Air Force Base 
in Rome for several years. Later worked at H.L Greens in Oneida. 
 She was the oldest living member of the United Methodist Church, 
Stockbridge.
 Surviving are a son, George Lee of Kenwood; a sister, Mrs. Lillian C. 
Bettinger of Lake Park, Fla., a half brother Jay Cramer of Norwich; several 
stepsisters and brothers; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; 
several nieces and nephews. Burial in Stockbridge.
