Ethel E. Bennett 
 
  Ethel E. Bennett, 66, of Scenic Avenue, died Tuesday, May 25, 1999 at 
Oneida Healthcare Center following a brief illness. 
  She was born April 18, 1933, in Smithfield, the daughter of Edward and 
Ethel Hood Wright. 
  Mrs. Bennett had lived in Canastota most of her life, after graduating 
from the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill schools. 
  She married Charles M. Bennett on Aug. 30, 1952, in Canastota. 
  Mrs. Bennett was of the Protestant faith. 
  Surviving are her husband; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cathy Mather 
of Canastota and Deborah and James Cassese of Arkansas; four brothers, 
Barney Wright of Florida, Adrian Wright of New Jersey, Earl Wright of New 
York and Charles Wright of New Jersey; two sisters, Elenor MacDonald of 
Arizona and Eunice Gordon of New York; five grandchildren, Cory Gustin, 
Nicole Gustin, Kara Mather, Karli Mather and Devon Cassese; and several 
nieces and nephews.
