  Emmons Delaney, 69, 525 Sayles Street, died last evening in Oneida City Hospital where he had been 
admitted as a surgical patient January 19.  He had been in ill health for six months. 
 
  Mr. Delaney was born in Oneida October 4, 1885.  An employee of the National Casket Company for 54 
years, he was a member of St. Patrick's Church, its' Holy Name Society, and of the Knights of Columbus. 
 
  Besides his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas O'Donnell, Utica: one sister, 
Mrs. Alice Hall, Rome: four brothers, Herbert and Edward, both of Oneida, James and Charles, Rome. 
 
  Funeral services will be held from his late home Saturday at 8:30 a.m., and at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's 
Church with the Rev. Thomas H. Quinn celebrating the Requiem Mass.  Interment will be in St. Patrick's 
Cemetery.  The James Iles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.   
 
  Friends may call at the late home today and tomorrow at their convenience.
