  Eugene Case 
 
 Eugene Case died at the home of his mother, Sophronia Case, Friday night, 
December 11. Mr. Case was born in this village and this had always been his 
home; up to a few years ago he enjoyed the best of health and was an athlete,
but suddenly his health failed and for some years he has been a great 
sufferer, and gradually declined until his death last Friday. He is survived 
by a wife and small daughter and a number of brothers and sisters. 
 The funeral was held at the home Wednesday morning, Rev. J. Mac D. 
Richardson of the Presbyterian church officiating.
