David L. Snyder
David L. Snyder, 53, 300 Davision St., died Wednesday morning, Sept. 29,
1999, at his residence, following an illness of several years.
Born in Oneida, on July 7, 1946, he was the son of Earl and Vivian Grinnell
Snyder. Mr. Snyder was educated in Oneida schools and resided in Sylvan Beach
for the last six years, moving from Washington, D.C.
Prior to his retirement, due to a medical disability, he was self-employed
as a building contractor. Mr.Snyder was of the Methodist faith and a veteran
of the Vietnam War, serving with the U.S. Army.
Surviving are three daughters, Robin Smith of Arizona, Christina Vickers of
Maryland, and Vivian Elizabeth Snyder at home; his step-father, Robert
Johnson of Sylvan Beach; one step-brother, John Sanborn of Stafford,
Virginia; one step-sister, Joyce Sanborn of Manassas, Virginia; three
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two
brothers, Roger Snyder in 1995, and Fred Snyder in 1998.
