                        CORNELIA  ROBERTS  JAQUAY 
    The death of Mrs. Cornelia Roberts Jaquay, aged 75, widow of Samuel N. 
Jaquay, occurred at the Canastota Hospital Thursday afternoon, where she had 
been a patient for several weeks.  The body was later removed to her home in 
Lamb Avenue where the funeral will be held privately at 2:30 o'clock Sunday 
afternoon.  It is expected Rev. A. C. Horsman and Rev. Harry Rosengrant will 
officiate. 
    Mrs. Jaquay had been a life long resident of Canastota and vicinity.  She 
was born on the New Boston road just west of this village on September 7, 
1840, a daughter of Peleg and Barbara Howe Roberts, pioneer residents of this 
locality.  At the age of 16 she was married to Mr. Jaquay and the couple 
enjoyed fifty-nine years of wedded life until June 17, 1915, when Mr. 
Jaquay's death occurred. 
    She was one of the oldest members of the Methodist Church.  Surviving is 
one son, Herbert G. Jaquay of this village.
