Services Held for C. Ray Damon 
 
  C. Ray Damon, 67, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica, Saturday, 
following one day's illness. Born in Morrisville, Sept. 8, 1888, son of Mr. 
and Mrs. Charles Damon. In 1922, he moved to Saquoit where he resided with 
his sister, Mrs. Florence Dotzeler. He was a barber by trade and also worked
in the Willowvale Bleachery. He had served as organist in the Sauquoit  
Methodist Church. 
  Surviving, besides Mrs. Dotzeler, are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Pratt of
Saquoit and Mrs. Lena Blanchard of Lancaster, Pa., and one brother, Louie 
Damon of Durhamville, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 
held at the Fisk Funeral Home, Chadwicks, Tuesday, with burial in the 
Morrisville Cemetery.
