SHERRILL- Christina H. Seamon, 87, of 104 Ackerman Ave., died early 
Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 1999, at her home following a lengthy illness. 
Mrs. Seamon was born Oct. 11, 1912, in Syracuse, the daughter of Albert and 
Aurelia Wells Hammond. Christina was educated in Durhamville. 
 
On Sept. 15, 1934, in Clockville, Christina was united in marriage with A. 
Franklin Seamon, a union which lasted until his death on July 22, 1998. 
 
Prior to her retirement in 1974, Christina was employed with Oneida Ltd. 
She was of the Christian faith. 
 
Mrs. Seamon was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 421 Auxiliary of 
Oneida. 
 
Surviving are six daughters and two sons-in-law, Marion and Floyd Cornutt of 
Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Dorothy Evans of Whitesboro, Catherine Seamon of 
Sherrill, Lois Copperwheat of Whitesboro, Mildred and Parill Klein of Verona 
and Anita Trudell of Boise, Idaho; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and 
Donna Seamon of Vernon and Gary and Jane Seamon of Boise, Idaho; five 
sisters, Anna Mae Collins of Vernon, Alberta Collins of Morrisville, Matie 
Rowe of Canastota, Eunice Shepard of Littleton, Colo. and Barbara Piersall of
Durhamville; one brother, Joseph Hammond of New Hartford; 18 grandchildren; 
and 43 great grandchildren. Mrs. Seamon was pre-deceased by two brothers, 
William and Fred Hammond, and a sister, Alice Maxfield.
