 Rome -- Mrs Belle D. Haynes, 70, 154 W. Dominick St., widow 
of John Haynes, died Oct. 28, 1950, in a Rome hospital. She 
had been in poor health for the past year. 
 She was born in West Vienna, Apr. 3, 1880, the daughter of 
the late Charles H. and Nora Baker Fellows. On June 12, 1925, 
she was married to Mr. Haynes in Rochester. He died four  
years ago. Mrs. Haynes was employed as cook at the Rome Elks 
Club for 23 years, retiring five years ago. She had lived in 
Rome for the last 30 years, having moved here from Elmira 
where she had lived for two years. She was of the Methodist 
faith. 
 Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Josephine O'Dell, Rome, and 
four brothers, Henry W., and Frederick F. Fellows, both of 
Rome, Edward F. of Oneida and Howard H. Fellows of Oswego. 
Also a half-brother, Charles E. Fellows, Oneida, and several 
nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be at 2 this 
afternoon from the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home, 418 North 
George St., with the Rev. Alvin C. Goddard, pastor of the  
First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in  
Rome Cemetery.
