  Ann V. Sherlock, 87, of the Oneida Garden Apartments, died early Thursday 
afternoon, Jan. 13, 2000, at the Betsy Ross Nursing Home in Rome. 
  She was born on July 29, 1912, in Canastota, the daughter of William and 
Mary Bill Valerio. 
  Mrs. Sherlock was educated in the Canastota school system. She married 
Patrick Sherlock in Canastota. Mr. Sherlock died April 12, 1987. 
  Mrs. Sherlock was employed by Oneida Ltd. for 27 years, as a forelady 
until her retirement in 1973. 
  Mrs. Sherlock was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Patrick's 
Church of Oneida. 
  Her memberships also included AARP {American Association of Retired 
Persons}, the Community Associated Clubs and the Oneida Ltd, Retirment 
Club. 
  Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Joseph A. Paone 
of Canastota; and several nieces and nephews.
