ONEIDA- Albert F. Schrank, 72, of 3850 Sconondoa Road, died Thursday evening,
Dec. 30, 1999, at his residence. 
 
He was born on Sept. 27, 1927, in Oneida, the son of Albert and Leona 
Woolridge Schrank. 
 
He was a lifelong resident of the Oneida area and attended the Oneida schools. 
 
Mr. Schrank owned and operated Schrank's Garage and Auto Salvage on 
Sconondoa Road for many years. He was also employed in the maintenance 
department of Inland Chemical Co. of Oneida for 15 years. 
 
Mr. Schrank had been a Seaman First Class in the Pacific Theatre with the 
U.S. Navy from June 7, 1945, until his Honorable Discharge on Aug. 15, 1946. 
 
Albert married Charlotte Snell Singer on Dec. 28, 1973, in Wampsville. 
Mrs. Schrank died on Dec. 10, 1993. 
 
Mr. Schrank was a member of the American Legion Post No. 169 in Oneida and a 
life member of loyal Order of the Moose Oneida  Lodge No 421. 

Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Douglas and Carol Schrank of
Baldwinsville, Dan Schrank of New Smyrna Beach Fla. and Christopher Schrank 
of Oneida; one daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Larry Canning of Hamilton; 
eight grandchildren, Kelly Schrank, Lisa Schrank, Danny Joe Schrank, Carly 
Canning, Nathan Canning, Amber Schrank, Christopher Schrank and Logan 
Schrank; an aunt Helen Kallett; three step-daughters and their s(p)ouses 
Susan and William Candee of Oneida, Kathleen and Terrance Bennett of 
Durhamville and Melanie Joseph Fiato of Canastota; two step-sons, James A. 
and Barbara Singer Jr. of Clayton, N. C. and Michael Singer of Oxnard, 
Calif.; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
