I Jeremiah J Clough of the Village and Town of Athens in the County of Greene & State of New York being of sound and disposing mind memory & understanding do hereby make & declare this to be my last will and testament as follows to wit;

First I will & direct that all my just and legal debts and funeral charges be paid by my executors hereinafter named

Item I give devise & bequeath all the rest residue & remainder of my estate and effects both real & personal not herein otherwise disposed of (after payment of my debts and funeral charges) to my beloved wife Alice her heirs and assigns

And lastly I do hereby nominate & appoint Henry Van Loan and my wife Alice Clough of Athens executors of this my last will and testament and hereby revoke all and every former will by me made.. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty fourth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty
