-Rensselaerville Baptist
Association

       

The Rensselaerville Baptist Association was founded in 1796 and meetings were held yearly at congregations throughout the Association, which covered all or parts of a number of counties, including Albany, Greene, Schoharie, Rensselaer and Delaware.

Baptist records are very difficult to locate and although these records give few genealogical details, they are a wonderful look into the organizational infrastructure of the early Baptist church in our area.
