At a meeting of the male persons belonging to the Methodist Episcopal Church and congregation in the town of Prattsville and County of Greene in pursuance of an act to provide for the incorporation of religious society passed April 5th 1813 for the purpose of electing discreet persons of said society or congregation as trustees of said society or congregation we Samuel U. Knapp and Abram T. Hawley having been nominated and elected to preside at said meeting do hereby certify in pursuance of said act that the following persons were elected by a plurality and the highest numbers of votes to serve as trustees for said church and Congregation as follows (Vis) Jacob P. Dice?, Bennett Atwood & Peter Deyoe and that the said trustees and successors in office shall forever be called and known by the name and title of the trustees of the second Methodist Episcopal Church in Prattsville in testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 6th day of January 1834
