At a meeting duly called by the first Christian Society in the Town of New Baltimore  Greene County and State of New York on the 22nd day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and fifty five we the Subscribers and member of said Society being  Lawfully Nominated by the Electors to preside in said meeting held for the purpose of Electing Trustees preparatory to the Lawful Incorporation of said Society.  Do herby Certify Agreeable to the statute in such case made and provided that , At a Meeting of the said electors of the above mentioned Society held agreeable to lawful notice of the New Baltimore aforesaid on the day and year above mentioned.  The following persons were duly Elected to serve as Trustees for the said Society__ W. L. Williams, P. Searls, David Williams, and Jesse Green.  And we further Certify that the said Trustees and their successors in office are forever to be known by the name of Trustees of the first Christian Society in the town of New Baltimore, Greene Co. N. Y.  In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals at New Baltimore aforesaid on the 26th day of November 1855

Greene County          }  ss   On this the 25th day do November 1855 personally appeared Francis H. Simmons of Greene County as Witness to the signing Sealing and delivery to me personally known who being sworn says that he Saw the within named William P. Serles and Joseph Z. Hallock Signed Seal and deliver and acknowledge the within Certificate of Indenture and Purposes therein mentioned and that he known the said William P. Searls and Joseph Z. Hallock to be the persons described in the said Certificate of Indenture which is to me satisfactory evidence of the said fact and the said Francis  H. Simmons further on his oath Says that he at the time of the execution of the within Signing he name thereof as Witness I Certify according to the Statute in Such case made and provided.
