Greene County}ssWe the undersigned two (2) of the members of the Church or Religious
Society hereafter mentionedone
being called the chair and the other was Secretary do hereby Certify that on the
12th day of October 1870, the male persons of full age belonging to
the Church or religious Society in which divine worship is celebrated according
to the rites of the First German Evangelical Lutheran Church of Catskill and not
already incorporated met at the place of public worship heretofore occupied by
the said Church in the School house in West Catskill in the County aforesaid for
the purpose of Incorporating themselves and did then and there elect by
plurality of voices Abram Daneberger, Valentine Gunther, Frederick A. Stahl as
Trustees of said Church and the said persons did then and there also determined by
the like plurality of voices that the said Trustees and their successors should
forever hereafter be called and Known by the name or title of the Trustees of
the First German Evangelical Lutheran Church of Catskill
