Catskill
March 18th 1833
We
the subscribers Elders and Deacons of the First Reformed Protestant Dutch Church
of Catskill being duly assembled, do certify whomsoever it may concern: that by
leave of the proper Ecclesiastical authority, we have assumed the Title of the
“First Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Catskill” and
according to the Statute in such case made and provided, will be known
and distinguished in law, as a body corporate by that title. In witness whereof
we have hereunto set our hand and seals the day and year above written

the town of Greene with whom I am personally acquainted who being by me duly
sworn deposes that he reside in the said town of Catskill that the he saw Peter T

Casparus Benham John Fiero John
A. Overbagh Frederick Overbagh William Cater & Jacob Van Valkenburgh execute the above
instrument that the subscribed his name thereto as a witness & that he knew
the persons aforesaid to be the persons described in and who executed the above
instrument.
