The following is typed exactly as written in bible.
Note: Abraham QUICK, son of George QUICK and Caroline HOLMES,
was born 04 Feb 1830 in Dutchess Co., NY and came to the Willow area of the Town
of Woodstock, Ulster Co., NY abt. 1845. He married Maria (WOLVEN) HOYT,
young widow of Unknown HOYT, with whom she had dau Almira. Abraham and
Maria's marriage produced 11 more children. This family, like many of the
other families in the Willow / Lake Hill
area, had strong ties with Greene County.
