Temperance Hill was drowned by falling off the wharf in Catskill on December 13,
1800. On the 22nd day of September 1801, was taken up and promptly
buried although no visible proof was to be seen, it being so long under water
that head and arms and feet were missing, we have no doubt of its being the same
child.
