Second marriage - Nelson Smith and Caroline J. Burroughs married by Rev. Dr. Van Zandt at Leeds April 22, 1877. She was the widow of Dr. Andrew Burroughs.

Isabella Smith married at Leeds by Rev. Dr. Van Zandt to Stanton Palmatier November 1st, 1876
