The last will and testament of John Lennon of the Town of Cairo in the County of Greene, State of New York ~~~~~ I, John Lennon, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory____________ almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say I give and bequeath to my children herein names the following sum or sums of money ~~~~

To my eldest son John Lennon two dollars. To my son Cyrenus Lennon two dollars. To my son Daniel Lennon two dollars. To my son James Lennon one hundred dollars. To my daughter Sarah the wife of Henry Couse two dollars. To my daughter Mary, the wife of Abiel Wilber one hundred dollars and all the household furniture that remains at my decease. To my daughter Henrietta wife of Jonas Finch fifty dollars. To my grandson James Wilson one dollar. To my grandson George A M Wilson one dollar. To my granddaughter Deborah Wilson one dollar. To my granddaughter Sally Wilson one dollar. To my granddaughter Jane Wilson one dollar. And lastly as to all rest residue and remainder of my estate I give and bequeath the same to my two sons Robert G S Lennon, Zacheus Lennon to be equally divided between them and I do hereby appoint my two sons Cyrenus Lennon and James Lennon executors to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have herunto set my hand and seal this twenty forth day of June in this year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty.

Signed sealed published and delivered by the above named John Lennon to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who have herunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the Testator.
