Jeremiah Overbaugh Family Cemetery

On the east side of Grove School Road about 3/4 mile north of 23A, called the Overbaugh Plot. On the former George Linzey property. Now owned by Bobach. Plot is in the north-east corner of the second lot behind the house on the high ridge, about 1/4 mile east of house. Plot in poor condition overgrown with brush, quite a few graves with small pieces of blue stone as markers.
Ida May, daughter of Joseph W. and Mary Cunningham born Oct 10, 1877 died Mar 19, 1880.
Isaac, son of Joseph W. and Mary Cunningham born Aug 8, 1867 died Aug 10, 1869.
Infant daughter of J. H. and Maria Overbaugh died March 27, 1859 1 month, 16 days.
Carrie, daughter of J. H. and Maria Overbaugh died Sept 28, 1864 aged 3 yrs, 9 mo.
Fitch Lamphere died Jan 10, 1826 aged 65 yrs.
Miles Lamphere died Dec. 19, 1826 aged 34 yrs.
Small piece of blue stone with "P. W." on it, no date.
William G. Wolven born Jan. 27, 1798 died May 30, 1833.
Elizabeth Bear, His wife born July 25, 1799 died Sept 3, 1865.
William M. Overbaugh died June 7, 1848 aged 30 yrs, 2 mo, 24 days.
Jeremiah B. Story stone broken that is all.
Gerturde Overbaugh, wife of Jeremiah B. Story born July 19, 1841 died March 18, 1864.
Gitty Schermerhorn, wife of Jeremiah Overbaugh born Aug 10, 1797 died April 25, 1868.
Jeremiah Overbaugh born April 13, 1789 died March 14, 1869.
This is a newer large four sided stone put up as a memorial stone to Jeremiah
and Gitty Overbaugh. Gitty is spelt Gertrude on this stone and there is also
another Jeremiah on it. (Jeremiah and Gitty are recorded above.)
Jeremiah Overbaugh Sr. died March 14, 1869 aged 78 yrs.
Gertruede Schermerhorn, his wife died April 25, 1868 aged 70 yrs.
Jeremiah Overbaugh died Nov. 23, 1894 aged 66 yrs.
