Dear Brother

I am still in bed & have had a pretty hard time of it since I left N.Y.  Have had my arm cov’d with ???? and plaster & taking morphine. I think you might take 2 or 3 notes which we have of Bl??? ??? arch Fill up a note for nearly the amt of them and get it dis’d in the city Bk it should be less than 4 mos. Monday is the offering day I should go down on Monday if I can but do not expect to be able – if the worst comes to the worst should not hesitate to call on Taylor or can give him a notes & a mortgage.
