This may certify that Benjamin Chamberlain of the town of Lexington in
the County of Greene and state of New York for the consideration of the sum of
sixty dollars good and lawful money of the state of New York to me in hand paid
by Oscar Beckwith of the same place the receipt whereof is hereby
confessed and acknowledged hath granted bargained sold assigned transfered and
set over unto the said Oscar Beckwith his executors administrators and
assigns all the east half of the said lot land and premises to the above named
lot above leased to me by William Allen being the land within leased to
me for his benefit forever the western half of said lot I have leased to George
Ducher Junior as witness my hand and seal this thirteenth day of June one
thousand eight hundred and thirty two.

This Indenture made the 25th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and thirty two between Benjamin Chamberlain of the town of
Lexington in the County of Greene and state of New York of the first part and George
Ducher Junior of the same place of the second part. Witnesseth that
the party of the first part for and in consideration of the rents and covenants
herinafter mentioned on the part of the party of the second part aforesaid to be
paid done, observed, performed fulfilled and kept, hath granted demised and to
farm lot and by these presents doth grant demise and to farm lot unto the party
aforesaid of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all that certain
tract piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Lexington County of Greene
and State of New York aforesaid being part on the one half of east half of a lot
designated on a map of part of great lotts W. 21& 48 of the Hardenburgh
patent as lott N 49 bounded as follows beginning at a beech tree cornered and
numbered 45,46, 72, 73 landing on the north easterly corner of lott N 45 thence
running north thirty two degrees thirty minutes east along a line of old marked
trees 45 chains 85 links to the heap of stones on a ledge of rocks on the north
side of the mountain in the Town of Windham thence north fifty seven degrees
thirty minutes west along another line of old marked trees twenty three chains
thirty four links to a hemlock tree cornered standing on the top of the mountain
thence south thirty two degrees thirty minutes west forty five chains eighty
five links to a stake and stones thence south fifty seven degrees thirty minutes
east twenty three chains thirty four links to the place of beginning containing
one hundred and six acres and three quarters being more or less. Now let
it be here understood that this is the boundary of the whole lot of land that
the said William Allen leased to one Benjamin Chamberlain on the
first day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty one by his
written indenture. Now let it here be understood simple the land and
premises hereby demised in and to the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever as he or they shall or may reasonably ask or require. In
witness whereof the said party of the first hath hereunto set his hand and
seal the day and year first above written.

This may certify that I George Ducher Jnr of the town of Lexington in the
County of Greene and State of New York for the consideration of the sum of
twelve dollars good and lawfull money of the state of New York to me in hand
paid by Nathan Chamberlain of the same place the receipt whereof is
hereby confessed and acknowledged hath granted bargained sold assigned
transfered and set over unto the said Nathan Chamberlain his executors
administrators and assigns all that the said messuage or tenement and premises
above mentioned to him and his heirs and assigns forever for his own proper use
and benefit forever, as witness my hand and seal this thirteenth day of June one
thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
