THIS INDENTURE Made the 1st
Day of Janr 1819 Between Cornelius Lee and Huldah his wife of Cairo in the
County of Green & state of New York of the first part & Jacob H Keller
of of the City & County of Albany of the Second part Witnesseth that the
said parties of the second part for & in Consideration of the sum of five
hundred & fifty Mony of account of the United States to them in hand paid by
the said party of the second part the Receipt whereof is hereby Confessed &
acknowledged have granted Bargained Sold Remised Released aliened & by these
presents Do grant Bargain sell remise release alien & Confirm unto the said
party of the second part & to his heirs & assigns forever all the
following tract Pice or parcel of land Situate lying & being in the Town of
Cairo aforesaid Bounded as follows Beginning at a stone set in the Ground the
corner of James Scuts land then by the line of Peter Ensels land North one
Degree west 5 Chains & twenty one links to a white Maple tree then South by
the Division line Between the said Cornelius & Jacob Lee fifty Degrees west
seventy seven Chains to a Beach tree then South one Degree east fifty six links
to a Black oak Sapplin then North by the line of James Scuts land 69 Degrees
& 45 Minutes East seventy eight Chains to the place of Beginning Containing
one hundred & thirteen Acres be the same More or less it being the half of a
tract of land granted by letters Patent from the state of New York Dated the 6th
Day of April 1818 to Jacob Lee & Cornelius Lee together with all &
singular the hereditaments & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining & the Reversion & Reversions Remainder &
Remainders Rents Issues & profits thereof & all the Estate Right Title
Interest property Claims & Demand whatsoever of the said parties of the
first part Either in Law or Equity of in & to the above Bargained premises
with the said hereditaments & appurtenances
To have & to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all the
appurtenances to the said party of the second part his heirs & assigns to
the sole & only proper use Benefit & Behoof of the said party of the
second part his heirs & assigns forever & the said parties of the first
part for themselves their heirs Executors & administrators Doth Covenant
Grant Bargain promise & agree to & with the said party of the second
part his heirs & assigns to warrant & forever to Defend the above
Bargained premises & every part & parcel thereof now being in the quiet
& peaceable possession of the said party of the second part against the said
parties of the second of the first part their heirs Executors &
assigns & against all & every other Person
or Persons Claiming or to Claim the said premises or any part thereof In witness whereof the parties of the first part have
hereunto set their hands & Seals the Day & Year first above written
