Gundersen Family Cemetery - Norwegian immigrants Dr. Alfred and Mina Gundersen are buried on their family farm, which they purchased in 1920 in the hamlet of Maplecrest. Last house on Big Hollow Rd. No gravestones are found at the site.
Hitchcock Family Cemetery - all remains were removed to the Maplecrest Cemetery when the flood control dam was built.
Maplecrest Cemetery, also known as Big Hollow Cemetery
Mitchell Hollow Cemetery - exact location of the cemetery unknown. No visible gravestones are visible to mark the site. The existence of the cemetery is known only because of a letter written in January 1887, that was published in the Windham Journal: "Mitchell Hollow was first settled in a bout the year 1760 (possibly 1790) by a Mitchell Family...those that died were buried on the flats...I know not how many there were in the family, but my best memory tells me there were about a dozen graves."
Osbornville Cemetery - The cemetery was located at the corner of Main St (State Rte 23) and Church St. (County Road 79) in the hamlet of Windham. The Center Presbyterian Church (Windham Civic Center) now occupies the site. When water from the Batavia Kill stream began to fill the graves within a few months of the first burial, all remains were removed and interred in the Windham Cemetery.
