Deaths from the Catskill Examiner and Catskill Recorder
Friday 26 April 1918 - In the Town of Athens Apr 19 John Moore @90 died at the home of his son, James. Burial at Lexington where he was born to Elijah and Martha Johnson Moore. Sixty-eight years ago he married Candace Bailey and two sons were born to them: James and Horace, the latter moving to California thirty-eight years ago. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Mrs. Willis Brandow of Athens, Charles and Berdella Moore of Athens township and Horace Moore of Philadelphia and also four great-grandchildren.
