One of the "youthful offenders" received 100 hours of community service and was placed on  3 years probation. The other juvenile pled guilty to the "E" felony of Cemetery Desecration and because he had another unrelated charge, he is serving six months in the Greene County Jail, after which he will be released on the five years felony probation, which will include restitution and 100 hours of community service.

The New York Division of Cemeteries has advised that the Acra cemetery has been approved for state funds assigned to put damaged cemeteries back in good order.
