Phebe Sincerbox, of Beekman, aged 74 years, [d. December 1872] gives all household furniture and wearing apparel to five daughters Jane Rogers [of Fishkill, NY] wife of Laban Rogers, Mariah [Antoinette] S. Humphrey [of Pleasant Valley, NY] wife of William Humphrey, Susan [E.] Brush [of East Fishkill, NY] wife of Augustus A. Brush, Catharine (T or F) Seaman [of Candor NY], wife of Joel Seaman and Mary Philips [of Lagrange], wife William [W.] Philips. Gives son John G. Sincerbox [of Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY] $50 and son Charles E. Sincerbox [of Lacrosse Wisconsin] residue. [Jarvis W. Sencerbox of Shakopee, Scott Co., Minnesota, "one of the heirs" of Phebe Sencerbox signed waiver 10 April 1873, not mentioned in will]

In the name of God Amen. I Phebe Sincerbox of Town of Beekman in the county of Dutchess & State of New York of the age of seventy four years, and being of sound mind and memory Do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say. First, I give and bequeath to my five Daughters Jane Rogers wife of Laban Rogers, Mariah S.

Humphrey wife of William Humphrey, Susan Brush wife of Augustus A. Brush, Catharine (T or F) Seaman, wife of Joel Seaman and Mary Philips, wife William Philips all of my household furniture and wearing apparel of every name & nature to be equally divided between them. Second then I order & direct that my funeral expenses & just debts first be paid out of the residue of my personal property. 3rd Then I give and bequeath to my son John G Sincerbox the sum of Fifty dollars. Fourth, Then all the rest & residue of my property which may be left after the above order and bequests have been complied with, I give and bequeath to my son Charles E. Sincerbox. Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my son John G. Sincerbox to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight.
