I have in my possession an 1876 Bible with the names of: Mr & Mrs Joseph SEABROOK of Geeterville, ONT., Ted Edward Pettit JOHNSTON, Almeda C. CALVERT of Otselic, NY, b 1880 - d 1948, She is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Otselic, NY, Bearers were Alton SOULE, Alfred WILLIAMS, Walter DAVIS & Verne F. SHELDON. Also in this bible is a red ribbon from the "TEETERVILLE" Public School, a picture of James MOORE, and many births of the BOOMER family starting at 1814 - 1853.
If any one of these names mentioned, especially the SEABROOK or BOOMER families are doing their genealogy I'm sure they would love to have this bible that I found at a garage sale! They are more than welcome to it for the cost of shipping, please have anyone interested contact me at the above AOL.Com address.
Sorry to trouble you, but thanks very much, Alicia M. Wiatrowski

Joseph W. LANE & his family were known to have lived in Springfield, IL from 1870 to 1878. He possibly worked for the railroad. His wife name was Abby (unknown surname) & they had 2 known daughters, Lizzie & Mary "Mamie" LANE.
According to the 1870 Sangamon Co IL & 1880 Hannibal Mo. census, Joseph W. LANE & his wife, Abby were born in NH, but his obituary & 1900 Hannibal, Mo census states he was born about Dec. of 1833 in Plymouth, Chenango County, New York. Joseph died October 5, 1905 in Hannibal, Mo, and his body was supposed to be returned to Springfield for burial in Oakridge Cemetery. His wife Abby died June 11, 1915 in Hannibal, Mo. Her body was also supposed to have been buried in Springfield, IL. The Oakridge Cemetery has no records of these burials.
Their oldest daughter, Lizzie was born abt. 1863 in IL. married Edward S. DUNNING on April 29, 1891 in Hannibal & may have lived in Kansas City. By 1915, Lizzie, was married to W. R. HESSER & lived in Roanoke, Roanoke County, VA.
As far as the youngest daughter, Mary "Mamie" LANE was born abt. Aug. of 1878 in IL., she was a music teacher and lived in Hannibal, Mo. Unknown what became of her after her mother's death in 1915.
I strongly believe Joseph was related to William E. LANE born abt. 1853 in IND.(birth info obtained in the 1880 Hannibal,Mo Census). William E. LANE married Elizabeth Caroline GALLAHER WARDELL ROGERS in 1875. William may have died about 1899 and his wife Elizabeth died Dec 31 1925 in Hannibal. William and Elizabeth had no known children, but Elizabeth had children from pervious marriage & lived in the vicinity of Hannibal, Mo and Quincy, IL. Elizabeth's children were: Hester "Hattie" Miranda (married John W. BREWER), Olivia, George Buhler (married Lula REDDICK), Lizzie (married William BRASSELL & Wesley WILSON).
Any information regarding any of these people would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to share info.
Thank you for your time.

I am looking for information on some of my early ancestors that I believe lived in Otselic, NY - I have found Josiah listed as an early settler - I believe his son to be Nelson WOLCOTT who was my G.G.Grandfather - He is shown on the 1850 census in Otselic as being 18 yrs old (our Nelson was born in 1832) - It appears that Josiah was dead in 1850 and family was headed by William - oldest son - mother Fanny is still listed though.
I would like to know where I can obtain Birth, Death, Marriage, Census, Will, Property Ownership records for this line of WOLCOTT's - in fact just any records of any kind. Are there web sites that I can find this information on??
Thank you, Sincerely,
Jerry D. Scott
