of Cherry Creek

Henry Abbey was born  02 Sep 1787 in Enfield, Hartford County, Ct.  He died in Cherry Creek, Chautauqua County, NY, 25 Aug, 1875.  His parents were Thomas Abbe and Ruth Bush of Connecticut.  Henry's siblings were Hadassah Ruth, Harriet, Horrice, Horatius.

Henry married Eva Ingersoll of Great Barrington, MA 08 May 1814 in Guilford, NY.  Eva was born 08 Aug 1789 and died 23 Jan 1857 in Cherry Creek, NY. Henry and Eva's children  are Louhamah, Harriet Lucretia, Sarah Charlotte, Oliver Henry, Ruth Ann.
 
Henry purchased property in Ellington in 1822.
 
Oliver Henry Abbey, his son, born 17 Aug 1820, Enfield, Hartford, CT.  He married Lydia Ann Phillips, daughter of Adams and Sarah (Hinds) Phillips   She was born 30 Nov 1831 in Ellington, NY.  They were married 16 Jul 1853.  Oliver Abbey died 19 Jan 1890 in Cherry Creek.  Lydia Ann died 02 Jun 1900 in Cherry Creek.
 
Their children are Maude Estella, Frank Henry, Sally Alberta, Lura Fracina, Carrie Louise, Eva Blanche.

SARAH HINDS PHILLIPS
Sarah (Sally) Hinds Phillip's (mother of Lydia Ann Phillips Abbey) parents were Jesse Hinds and Sarah Stanford.  Sarah was born in Chesterfield, Chesire, NH , 20 May 1809.  She died 29 Oct 1890 in Cherry Creek, Chautauqua, NY.  She married Adams Phillips 23 Mar 1831.  Adams was born 23 Mar 1810.  He died 29 Nov 1885 in Cherry Creek, Chautauqua, NY.
 
Sarah and Adams children are:
