Veterans of Guysborough County Book

Research is currently underway for a book to capture and preserve the identities of the Guysborough County, veterans. Every veteran who served in World War One and World War Two will be listed along with a summary of their military information.
Within this book, the authors hope to capture the names, faces, thoughts, memories and history of those who served to keep Canada a free country. The authors are proud of these men and women, and through this book they hope to keep their spirits alive and educate future generations about their history.

Kelly is a long time resident of Sherbrooke, Guysborough County and Diana is originally from Cole Harbour, Halifax County. The fathers of both authors were born and raised in Guysborough County, and served in World War Two. This is a large project that will take a year or more to complete, but Diana and Kelly are determined to see its completion. This is their small way of saying thanks to all the brave souls who served.
